This expanding dining table was constructed over the winter, and installed on 6/14/2021 in
Woodstock, VT. The wood, cherry and maple, was felled on the property in 2009. It was
milled in New Hampshire, and air dried in my barn, Hopkinton, MA. When closed the table
is 30" high x 8’ long x 44” wide; open it is 12’ long. The four leaves store in the center leg
system “well”. The family and their kids cut the sprigs for the center assembly on the
property, last November. The joinery is mortise and tenon. The finish is natural with 2K
urethane topcoats.
